interesting illustration indeed.A lady got up to share a testimony of what God was doing in her life recently, and she said that God was telling her that she needed to let Him steer the car that is her life. That she had to stop trying to reach over and grab the steering wheel, and just let Him drive. But not ONLY that.
What interested me most, was the next part. She said that letting God steer wasn’t going to work if she wasn’t moving forward. You can’t steer a car anywhere if it isn’t moving!
So yeah. It’s not enough to say “God, I’ll let you steer my life” if you’re stuck in the one place, whether it’s due to being bogged, not having enough fuel, or being too scared to move from your comfort zone… God can’t use us to our full purpose if we don’t let go and let Him move us, and steer us.
